Temiskaming Foundation Grants $38,790 to Support Blanche River Health’s Englehart Site
Annual distributions will address critical needs and improve healthcare for the community.
The Blanche River Health Foundation (BRHF) is proud to announce the receipt of $38,790 in grants from The Temiskaming Foundation (TTF), an enduring supporter of local healthcare. The grant comprises distributions from three specific funds: the Englehart Hospital Fund ($37,200), the Englehart & Area Hospital Fund ($590), and the 2025 Englehart Fund grant ($1,000).
“Generosity like this strengthens our ability to deliver on our mission of making healthcare work for our community,” said Samantha Saudino, Vice President of Clinical Services and Chief Nursing Officer at Blanche River Health (BRH). “These grants ensure we can meet the evolving needs of our patients while honouring the legacy of those who built these funds.”
TTF, celebrating its 31st year, has a deep commitment to supporting local organizations through sustainable investments. “We’re thrilled to see these funds making a tangible impact,” said Brigid Wilkinson, Executive Director of TTF. “The Englehart Hospital Fund and Englehart & Area Hospital Fund are prime examples of how thoughtful planning can leave a lasting legacy for the community.”
The grants will support critical equipment upgrades and facility improvements at the BRH Englehart site, ensuring it continues to provide top-notch care.
“This partnership demonstrates the power of collective giving,” said Brian Bronson, BRHF Board Director. “We’re incredibly grateful for the enduring support from The Temiskaming Foundation and the estate bequest from an anonymous donor. Together, we’re shaping a healthier future for Englehart and the surrounding areas.”
BRHF and TTF are united in their commitment to fostering a healthier, more resilient community. Over the past 31 years, TTF has contributed to the vitality of the Temiskaming region, stewarding over $12 million in investments to support healthcare, education, and community services. Their thoughtful leadership ensures that organizations like BRH can continue to meet the needs of Englehart, Kirkland Lake, and surrounding areas for generations to come.
