Blanche River Health – Kirkland Lake site recently received the Hospital Achievement Award: Provincial Routine Notification Award from Trillium Gift of Life Network (TGLN).

 Blanche River Health continues to be a partner in the process of organ donation and makes every effort possible to ensure opportunities are offered to potential organ donation candidates.

 “We recognize organ donation plays a significant part in saving lives and improving the quality of life for many people. It has been a pleasure working with TGLN to help ensure we do as much as we can to maximize potential organ donations within our area. TGLN has worked hard to make sure the reporting process is seamless. Although our facility is far from major centres, TGLN works with us to allow our participation in such a wonderful program.
