South Timiskaming Diabetes Clinic Moves to Collège Boréal in New Liskeard
The South site of the Timiskaming Diabetes Program has moved to the Collège Boréal at 280 Armstrong Street North in New Liskeard, announced Joan Brazeau, Interim CEO, Blanche River Health.
“Clients of the South Timiskaming Diabetes Program can count on a seamless transition to the new location, which will continue to offer education on healthy eating, self-monitoring of glucose, insulin administration, footcare, stress management and physical activity,” said Brazeau.

The location of the North Timiskaming Diabetes Program remains at the Kirkland Lake site of Blanche River Health.
Services at both sites are provided by a team of clinicians including Registered Nurses, Registered Dieticians and physician support.
Both sites of the Timiskaming Diabetes Program are operated by Blanche River Health, a 74-bed hospital corporation with two sites serving the North Eastern Ontario communities of Englehart (26 beds) and Kirkland Lake (48 beds) as well as residents in surrounding areas.
