Blanche River Health wants to hear from locals as it kicks-off a strategic planning initiative to help ensure the hospital’s focus reflects community needs over the next five years. 

“We’re asking local residents to spend a few minutes on an online or paper survey to provide input that will help inform the future direction of the Englehart and Kirkland Lake hospital sites of Blanche River Health,” said Jorge VanSlyke, President and CEO, Blanche River Health.  “This feedback is crucial to ensuring the priorities of local residents are addressed in the five-year strategic plan we are developing.”   

The survey can be found at www.blancheriverhealth.ca and takes approximately five minutes to complete.  All residents are invited to complete the survey by Monday, July 3, 2023. 

“We’re looking for honest feedback about what works, and what doesn’t, so we can work to improve the services we provide to our patients,” added VanSlyke.

Blanche River Health is a 74-bed hospital corporation with two sites serving the North Eastern Ontario communities of Englehart (26 beds) and Kirkland Lake (48 beds) as well as residents in surrounding areas.
