Blanche River Health Foundation

Michael J. Marinigh

Treasurer

Michael J. Marinigh joined the Board of Directors of Blanche River Health Foundation in July 2024.

Michael is an accomplished professional with over four decades of experience in the engineering and manufacturing sectors. He earned his Diploma of Technology in Mechanical Engineering Technology from St. Clair College in 1983.

Since 1992, Michael has been a vital part of Heath & Sherwood (1964) Limited, where he serves as VP of Sales. As a co-owner until 2023, he now enjoys semi-retirement while maintaining an active role in the company. His extensive experience in business and sales has played a significant role in the company's growth and success.

Prior to his time at Heath & Sherwood, Michael had various sales roles with Engine Control Systems Ltd and from 1990 to 1992 was responsible for establishing their South African branch introducing their novel diesel exhaust purification systems to the underground mining equipment market. This experience allowed him to broaden his expertise in international markets and management.

Since 2015, Michael has been an active member of the Rotary Club of Kirkland Lake, serving as its President since 2022. Michael is also an active team member in the Rotary Wheels for Learning project which provides underprivileged children a means to attend school in Cambodia. Michael has visited over 50 countries and lived in South Africa and Colorado before returning to his hometown of Kirkland Lake in 2013.

Joining the board is both an honor and a privilege for Michael. He hopes that his experience in business, sales, Rotary International, and fundraising will help engage both community businesses and residents to become involved with Blanche River Health both financially and through volunteerism.
