Patricia French

Secretary

Patricia French has been a dedicated member of the Blanche River Health Foundation board since April 14, 2011, and was elected Treasurer on November 13, 2020.

She is passionate about innovation and the betterment of hospital services, believing that the hospital foundation plays a crucial role in positively impacting the community and ensuring long-term success.

Patricia earned her Funeral Director Diploma from College Boreal’s Sudbury Campus. She has devoted her career to the funeral service industry and has been with the Timiskaming Funeral Cooperative since acquiring the business in April 2002. After selling it to a non-profit organization, she continues to serve as Director of Operations and Senior Funeral Director, providing compassionate care and support to families during their most challenging times.

Having always worked within her family business, Patricia brings a strong sense of community and responsibility to her role on the board. Her extensive experience in managing a community-oriented business gives her a unique perspective on the importance of responsive and innovative healthcare services.

Patricia joined the board to help drive innovation and improvement in hospital services, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the community. She is committed to leveraging her expertise to contribute positively to the hospital's foundation and foster a healthier, more connected community.
