Job Summary:

The Laundry Department must supply adequate and sufficient clean linen to enable the Hospital to maintain essential and safe services for patients and staff, utilizing proper infection control practices.

Requirements:

• Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or relative experience, skills and abilities will be considered

• Previous experience in a healthcare facility considered an asset
• Must be punctual and able to attend work regularly
• Must be willing to work with a minimal amount of supervision
• Ability to read and understand English language
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times
• Ability to perform the duties of all assigned areas
• Neat, clean and tidy appearance, in accordance with dress code policy
• Must be able to perform physically demanding routines
