The Beer Store Launches Blanche River Health Foundation Fundraiser
Accepting donations of cash and empties until August 27
The Beer Store and Blanche River Health Foundation have made giving back to your local hospital as easy as donating empties or making a cash donation at the store in Kirkland Lake, announced John Sullivan, Board Chair, Blanche River Health Foundation.
“We thank The Beer Store in Kirkland Lake for encouraging their customers to donate cash and empties from their generous customers over the coming weeks,” said Sullivan. “Every dollar raised will help fund the purchase of new cardiac equipment at our Kirkland Lake and Englehart hospital sites.”
Every day, clinicians at Blanche River Health have access to modern medical equipment paid for by local community members and businesses through their support of the Blanche River Health Foundation. Recent purchases include a scanner to determine bladder volume, eye care equipment, new chairs to help keep oncology patients comfortable, patient transport chairs and more.
“Our partnership with The Beer Store will bring us that much closer to our goal of purchasing modernized cardiac equipment,” added Sullivan.
The Blanche River Health Foundation is grateful for the support local businesses have provided recently through Nevada ticket sales, the sponsorship of the Blanche River Health 50/50 Lottery Early Bird Prize, raising funds on our behalf, or donating a portion of their sales.
Blanche River Health is a 74-bed hospital corporation with two sites serving the North Eastern Ontario communities of Englehart (26 beds) and Kirkland Lake (48 beds) as well as residents in surrounding areas.
