The Beer Store Raises $1,353.05 for Blanche River Health Foundation
Accepted donations of cash and empties
A summer “donate your empties” fundraiser at The Beer Store in Kirkland Lake has resulted in a $1,353.05 donation to Blanche River Health Foundation, announced John Sullivan, the Foundation’s President.
“We are very grateful for the support The Beer Store and the community has shown to Blanche River Health,” said Sullivan. “Every dollar raised will help fund the purchase of new cardiac equipment at our Kirkland Lake and Englehart hospital sites.”
Every day, clinicians at Blanche River Health have access to modern medical equipment paid for by local community members and businesses through their support of the Blanche River Health Foundation. Recent purchases include a bladder scanner, eye care equipment, new chairs to help keep oncology patients comfortable, patient transport chairs and more.
The Blanche River Health Foundation is grateful for the support locals provide by buying Nevada tickets, 50/50 lottery tickets, raising funds on our behalf, remembering us in their wills, or donating.
Blanche River Health is a 74-bed hospital corporation with two sites serving the North Eastern Ontario communities of Englehart (26 beds) and Kirkland Lake (48 beds) as well as residents in surrounding areas.
